We got a solid move in rate at about 250 dollars and then paid 192 dollars per month for the first three months. After that, the rate increased to 272 dollars. Most recently, it was raised again to 352 dollars per month. At that point I decided to move out. Paying 350 dollars a month for a ten by twenty five unit in Georgia is unreasonable. The staff at this location has always been excellent, but the pricing model is extremely frustrating. Over the next four months I would have spent about 1,600 dollars here compared to roughly 400 dollars at Public Storage for the same size unit. That is a huge difference and it adds up to more than 4,200 dollars per year. If you only need storage for three months or less, Extra Space might still be fine. For anything longer, especially if you are settling in after a major move like we were, expect ongoing price hikes every few months. Our plan changed and our storage needs grew to almost fourteen months, which made the repeated rate increases impossible to justify.
