They told me on the phone that my key just needed reprogramming. He said it could not be programmed he had a new one in his hand when he got out of his truck You can see from the receipt he charged for cutting a key. He did not he left it blank in the new fob. Total time on site less than 15 minutes total bill $453 The key does work not worth the money. I would suggest asking about the price before they show up
