- MLMichael LowdenNov 2, 20251.0Turned my tub into an alkaline battery. I had my new, 5 days old spa, at nearly perfect numbers according to their test strips. I was missing conditioner only so my chlorine wouldn't burn off so quickly. I knew what I was going in to buy, I thought I'd take a water sample with me for confirmation. The system, knowing that my account was for a 350-400gal spa, instructed me to use 0.75L of "shock" treatment. I questioned it saying "that's nearly half a bottle (2L) when I usually only use a tablespoon", the rep looked at me and the computer printout and said "yup, 3/4L that's what you need to reset the spa". Silly me, I followed those instructions. My spa became dangerously toxic. I had to drain and refill 3 times before the numbers returned to safe. Guess who's never getting my $$ ever again?

Three consecutive days I've tried to come into the store for help and she's not even there?? I can never get a hold of her and it's always the assistant manager in the store by herself during the busiest season. Extremely unprofessional and a sad excuse of management. do better.
