It had been 13 years since we last purchased our mattress, and it was definitely time for a new one. Back in March 2025, I was attending a Breast Cancer Conference nearby. Since I am currently and have been living with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, quality of life is critical to me. As I was getting something to eat, I noticed there was a Tempur-Pedic store and stopped by. I had no immediate intentions of purchasing, but I knew my husband and I would need a bed soon, so I went to check out some options. Charlie greeted me with such warmth and care, and even gave me some water when he noticed I was hot. He helped me pick out the perfect mattress one that was similar to, if not better than, my older model. His positive demeanor, attention to detail, and thorough answers to all my questions increased the urge to buy our much needed mattress sooner rather than later. I live out of state, but I respected and liked Charlie so much that I ONLY wanted to purchase through him. He confirmed that it would be possible to ship the mattress to my hometown and complete the purchase through him. Eight months later, I contacted Charlie. His customer service is so good that he actually remembered me, and it was as if we started right where we left off. We completed our mission of purchasing our second mattress and were able to receive all the Black Friday deals, which made the purchase worthwhile and saved us a lot of money. The actual purchase process was super simple and easy. Charlie explained each step with clarity. All in all, meeting Charlie that day added to my quality of life. He helped me purchase a mattress that will reduce my pain and improve my insomnia because the bed is so incredibly comfortable. The delivery process was smooth and quick, the delivery team was strong and removed my old tempur-pedic without difficulty. I have slept on the bed for almost a week now, its taking some time to get adjusted but I love the continued check ins from Charlie to ensure we are enjoying our experience, he informed me that since its colder that the bed can become firmer and I have noticed that, when its warmer in the house the bed is nice and cozy and soft. Plus I got more deals after the purchase just for registering for my warranty, so I have some more cozy bamboo sheets coming in from Tempur-Pedic. Can I use my current frame with my Tempur-Pedic Mattress?
Yes. We design our mattresses to fit most standard size bed furniture and frames.
Unless your product was not designed for the U.S. market, or is an unusual size, our mattresses should fit.
If you have any question about whether a Tempur-Pedic mattress will fit your bed or furniture frame, we recommend that you refer to the specific product dimensions.
If you choose not to purchase our foundation, you must position the mattress on a completely flat, solid surface with adequate center support.
If you have a slatted foundation, we recommend using slats that are at least 3 inches wide and are no more than 4 inches apart.
Please note that using the mattress without a Tempur-Pedic foundation or similar firm, solid-surface, non-spring base may void the warranty.
How does my new mattress arrive?
With the exception of our TEMPUR-Cloud, select mattresses arrive with White Glove delivery. With our free White Glove delivery, your mattress will arrive in a plastic covering which will be removed upon delivery for set up.
The TEMPUR-Cloud is a convenient option at a lower price that ships to your door compressed in a bag for you to set up on your own time. This design makes the TEMPUR-Cloud great for those who have narrow hallways or doorways, live in apartments, or want to have a contact-free delivery! The TEMPUR-Cloud does not receive our White Glove delivery as it is shipped via UPS. This means that it will be delivered to your door and removal of your old mattress is not available.
What is the difference between Medium & Medium Hybrid in feel?
Tempur-Pedic’s hybrids are like no other, because our innovative coil system works in combination with one-of-a-kind TEMPUR® Material to deliver unmatched pressure relief and support — plus, a more “responsive” feel from the premium coils that sleepers may prefer. This makes our hybrids a perfect introduction to Tempur-Pedic (and a welcome upgrade!) if you’ve only slept on traditional spring mattresses in the past.
While our hybrid mattress options are best described as “medium,” they’re created a bit differently than our other medium-feel mattresses. Our non-hybrid mattresses are constructed entirely of our legendary TEMPUR® materials (placed on top of a foam base layer), while our Medium Hybrid options contain a 1000+ coil system to provide all the pressure relief and support you expect from a Tempur-Pedic mattress — with the added “bounce” from the coils.
Another difference? Our Medium Hybrid mattresses are created using our softest material available, TEMPUR-ES™, so our hybrids tend to feel slightly softer than our Medium, non-hybrid options. Do you have replacement covers for mattresses?
Yes, we do, for any of our mattresses with a removable cover. You can order replacement covers for our current mattress models online here. If you need the cover for an older mattress or you don't see your mattress listed, you can talk to one of our Sleep Guides in the store to help you find yours.
