    I don't know if this is a Lowes corporate issue or a character deficit in the locals who work at/for this location, but I am annoyed. Nobody wants to take responsibility, and forget about asking for proper documentation. They will literally say one thing on the phone and when you get to the store, they dodge you or deny hearing or repeating what was said on the phone in prior conversation. i purchased an appliance from this store and paid to have the item delivered and installed. The technician installed the appliance. The appliance never came on. Corporate calls to advise me to have an electrician come out to assess. I did. TODAY, the electrician discovered that the appliance was connected to bad wiring. I called Lowe's Americus to advise them that their technician has a character flaw, and that I expect to be reimbursed for the delivery and installation plus compensation for the inconvenience - especially since i now have to pay for additional parts and service. This conversation was had with Lowe's locally and corporate on the phone line. Local manager #2 told me to "just come in to Customer Service for a refund." Corporate said they will document the conversation with an approval for reimbursement and compensation. Lowe's supposedly record conversations... but when I got to the store to this evening (after at least 3 calls today) they all looked at me like I was making it all up and never heard of it. Three people claiming to be managers... and no help. One conveniently decided to take a lunch break before my arrival. The other denied the phone conversation. The third says he needs authorization to refund and noone who can authorize the refund will be there until the tomorrow... plus, he said he can't refund because corporate never entered the notes from the earlier conversation... so he does not know who to believe on the matter. Noone can find the name or make contact with the original technician... blaming corporate for sending random people over to work. WHAT is happening?! Did i walk into Lowe's and walk out with an appliance... took it home and installed it myself?! Did i make this all up?! i now have to wait until tomorrow. On tomorrow, no doubt I will have to repeat this story again... and again... and again before a satisfactory resolution is met. Until then, this review stands at a ONE star. Wish I could give it a zero for today's experience.

    Customers service is horrible at this location. When need help no one can be found over 30 min. & when found one knows lil to nothing about that department!!! Guest I deal with Home Depot in Cordele in further!!! They make sure I’m well take care time I walk in door

    I love our Lowes in Americus. Just bought a new zero turn. The young man who helped us was knowledgeable and got us done quick. Jabra, when she came out I started smiling instantly. She has helped me with multiple projects in the past and when she came outside today I felt happy to see her. Lowe's has some good people up there.
