Half my order was missing when I came to pick it up, despite me stopping by the store and it was available on shelves. (I returned following day because they were busy and was still processing my order in the back). The rest of my order was for home delivery and came half broken. Their customer service was terrible.

World Market is one of my favorite stores to shop at. I love how unique everything is — from the home décor to the food and specialty items, there’s always something fun and different to discover. The store is always enjoyable to walk through, well-organized, and full of inspiration. I genuinely look forward to every visit and always leave with something I didn’t even know I needed. My only wish is that they would build a World Market in Apopka — it would be a dream to have one closer! Until then, it’s absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommend.

World Market, on Daniels Road in Winter Garden, is a treasure trove of fun stuff. My favorite time to visit is the Christmas holidays. Their display team does a fabulous job of arranging eye catching areas to help you visualize the merchandise in your own home. Foods, sweets, and wines from literally all over the world (hence the name, duh) add to the fun. The staff has always been helpful and kind. Nicki, our cashier, was especially sweet. They’ll take good care of you there!

I’m writing to share a disappointing experience I had during a recent curbside pickup. I placed an online order and indicated that I had arrived, although I was running slightly behind. When I arrived, I called to let the store know I was there. The employee who answered the phone was rude and dismissive, stating that she had already come outside and I wasn’t there. I apologized and let her know I had arrived and was waiting. When she came out with my order, she appeared visibly upset and was muttering under her breath. When I asked what she said, she responded “nothing” and then commented that it smelled like weed outside, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. She continued the interaction in an irritated manner while asking for my ID and having me sign paperwork. After she left, I noticed that my bag only contained one item. I went back inside to ask about the missing item and was told, in a dismissive tone, that I “should have read my email” and that the item was on backorder. This information was not communicated during pickup, and the response was rude rather than helpful. I’ve enjoyed shopping at this store in the past, but this experience left a very poor impression. The employee’s behavior was unprofessional, and if she is a manager, that is especially concerning. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and consider addressing customer service expectations with your staff.

would like to formally report a very upsetting and discriminatory experience I had at a World Market store. I was purchasing an outdoor lantern that was displayed hanging on a hook with a sign that read $39.99. None of the other items in that section had individual price tags, so I reasonably assumed the items displayed there were priced the same. When I reached the register, the cashier informed me he needed to confirm the price with the store manager. When the store manager approached and saw me with my service dog, a very small Biewer Yorkie, she immediately made a facial expression of disgust and completely fabricated a claim that my dog had bitten her, which is absolutely false. At no point did my service dog act aggressively or bite anyone. This accusation was made without any basis and felt intentionally misleading and discriminatory. Moments before, she had already spoken to me in a rude and dismissive manner, implying that I “should have known” that each item had its own price. I felt humiliated, discriminated against, and deeply disrespected. Later, when I called the store, I was told that I could “get into trouble” if my service dog did not have updated paperwork and because he had barked. This statement was intimidating and inappropriate, especially considering that service animals are protected under federal law and no paperwork can be required. After all of this, the same store manager later called me to apologize. However, the damage was already done. I ask: What kind of store allows its own manager to fabricate accusations, humiliate a customer, and show open disgust toward a service animal? This experience raises serious concerns regarding discrimination, misinformation about service animal laws, and lack of proper managerial training. Her name is Dina
