  Very clean and nice storage space. Air conditioning in the units which is a plus. I would definitely use and recommend this storage unit

  I’ve been renting from ExtraSpace for the last 9 months and my time and experience has been amazing! I would recommend everyone in the Wesley Chapel to rent here at this location and Derek! He will definitely take care of you!

  Buyer beware! After seeing all the positive reviews, I had high hopes for this storage unit. The online registration was pretty easy, but at checkout, be prepared for multiple extra surprise fees! $30 admin fee, and $20 fee for a lock that says it's returnable if it is unopened. There is no option to opt out of the lock fee, but since it said returnable, I moved forward. I've had many storage units in the past, and have always been offered a lock, but never required to purchase a lock if I have my own. After all the fees, expect to pay at least $50 over the stated monthly rate! I guess the majority of customers don't mind overpaying for a cheap lock forced upon them. I locked the unit with my own trusted padlock, took the provided, unopened tubular lock to the office, and was told by the manager, Derek Mercurio, that I was required to use their tubular lock. The promise of the refund and return on the website was not honored. False advertising and fake assurances on the website. I spoke to the regional manager, who said she can't control what's on the website. As a representative of the company, it's strange for her to completely disregard what the company website clearly states. She said that this location uses tubular locks only because they are so secure. I guess they've never watched the Lockpicking Lawyer videos on Youtube. They really will not allow you to return the provided lock, even though the website only gives one condition, that the lock is unopened. You cannot trust anything stated on the website, because the regional manager will just disregard it and say she can't control what the website says. Unbelievable. They claim to be so concerned with security and someone breaking in to the unit with an unsecure padlock, but they're not concerned that the top of the unit is literally open air, with nothing on the top but literal chicken wire. In case you're wondering, this photo is the entire lock. Not just the key cylinder, it is the entire locking mechanism. Shameful business practices.
