I was getting landscaping timbers and had trouble finding the ones on the website. I saw some that looked just like them but they had a higher price than the website. (Turns out the price on the shelf is wrong because it rang up correctly at checkout.) I tried getting help on the price but the lady just said she didn't know and left me to figure out on my own. So I start loading the "expensive" timbers which are big, bulky and heavy. The same lady is now hanging out talking to a male coworker and standing in front of my cart. I'm having to maneuver 10 of these things around them. They could have offered to help put them in my cart for me, or at the very least, get the hell out of the way. I'm sure your fun little conversation would have been just as fun 5 ft. away. Then she fired up some diesel forklift that was parked 2 ft. in front of the timbers and let it run while continuing her conversation. Now I'm breathing diesel fumes while getting a workout with the heavy timbers. I mentioned my troubles to the cashier and her response was "sorry about that". That's as far as my complaint was going to go. I even said I wanted a manager but that didn't happen. She instead said I could fill out the survey and the manager would see it. I told her I would rather tell everyone about my experience by leaving a review if I can't speak to someone. Why do a private survey and let you guys get away with it? The employees don't care about the customer experience here. I felt like I was just bothering all of them. It was the same price across the street at Home Depot. I will be going there from now on.

Do not buy storm doors from Lowe’s ! I am having an awful experience with Lowe’s, Farrow Construction and Larson. I bought it a “brand new door” from Lowes almost a year ago.The door was garbage, the installer did an awful installation and Lowes does not have the guts to hold them accountable for this!!! I bought the door from Lowes, not from the manufacturer or the installer!! I do not want to think that they are doing this to wait until my warranty is over!! They even want me to do things that they’re the one that have to freaking do it, wasting me time taking pictures of serial numbers, trying to find the installer because they sent the wrong part! I am just tired of it! Meanwhile I have a storm door that is broken already and I did not have the chance to enjoy my “new storm door”!.

I have spent a lot of money at this location over the years. I went in today to purchase ship lap boards for a project. I needed to buy 12’ boards to eliminate any seams but needed them cutdown to make transport easier. I stopped at customer service and described exactly what I was buying and that I needed the boards cut because I wanted to make sure they would cut that many boards. I was told they would. I then spent the 30 minutes going through the boards to get the amount I needed that were in good condition. I loaded them up and headed to the cutting area where I was told they would not make the cuts. Even when I told them that customer service said they would, they still said no. I went back to customer service and asked to speak with a manager. After I explained what happened she still said they would not cut them. Their customer service has declined significantly recently and apparently they can’t even get their employees properly trained as to what their processes are. I’ll be taking my business across the street to Home Depot.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
