Slava K at the Pro Desk was outstanding to work with. We just placed a large dock project order and he went above and beyond making sure everything was handled correctly, organized efficiently, and priced competitively.
He was patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping us get the right materials and hardware for a complex marine build. It’s rare to find someone who takes that level of ownership and professionalism anymore.
The entire process was smooth because of him. Highly recommend working with Slav if you want someone competent, attentive, and easy to work with. We’ll absolutely be returning for future projects.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with a sliding glass door installation through Lowe’s, and I would not recommend them for this type of project.
The process started back in January when Julia came out to measure the door—and got it wrong. She had to return to remeasure, which immediately delayed everything. On top of that, the door she claimed was in stock wasn’t actually available, so we had to start over and reorder a completely different one.
From there, communication completely fell apart. For about a month, I received weekly calls from Lowe’s saying they were “waiting on the permit.” I eventually contacted the city myself, only to find out that the permit had never even been pulled. That alone tells you how disorganized things were.
Then Mia took over and instead of fixing the issues, she shifted the blame onto Julia. Meanwhile, nothing actually improved. Now it’s May, the door has finally been delivered—but none of the required materials (like lumber) showed up to complete the installation.
To make things worse, today the day of installation after everything was set and ready to go. The contractor went to get the permit and nothing was pulled again.
Overall, this has been months of delays, miscommunication, and lack of accountability. No one seems to know what they’re doing, and as a customer, you’re left to chase down answers yourself. I would strongly recommend going with a different company if you want your project handled correctly and on time.
On top of that they are in a breech of contract . My signed contract with completion date has passed. I will be contacting corporate.

This past Saturday, the natural gas water heater failed at my home, leaving me only cold water to care for my ill significant other. I researched retailers of gas water heaters on Google Shopping and identified that Lowe’s stocks gas water heaters at its Oldsmar, Florida store (among other locations). I arrived at the Lowe’s in Oldsmar very late in the evening; approximately 8:30 PM. I was unable to locate the hot water heater section on the Lowe’s App using the in store feature as it simply stated “Back Wall”. I wasn’t able to find a team member readily until I arrived in the home cabinet/carpet section of the store where an employee named Andy, was working diligently on what appeared to be a quote. I simply asked Andy to tell me how to find the location for water heaters. What he did next was above and beyond the call of duty. He first walked me to the heater section, located the water heater on a shelf high above the retail floor, when to get a forklift device to secure the box from the shelf and bring it to the floor, loaded the water heater box on my shopping cart, walked me to the front register, checked me out, identified that I didn’t have the recommended gas line installation kit, took the initiative to go back and get this kit himself from inventory and bring it back the register and completed checkout. He then loaded the water heater on my utility trailer and wished me the best with installation informing me that Lowe’s was here to help with any questions. This was an example of EXEMPLARY service and initiative and allowed me to install the heater on Sunday and have hot water back in my home by Sunday afternoon. Thank you very much Andy! You’re a credit to Lowe’s!
