This store only had a handful of customers on a Sunday afternoon.
- KMKaylea MorrisSep 25, 20252.0This is a review from my experience as a whole. I called today, 09/25/2025 to place a basket for my company aside so that I could immediately come in and pick it up. I provided the sku number and it was easy. When I got to the store the basket was ready and available. I made the purchase and was happy. When I got into the car I realized it was the wrong size basket. When I came in my negative experience began when Bill began to assist me. I clearly had an issue but kindly explained the situation but was beginning to be interrupted and couldn’t fully explain the situation. To then he began just trying to put pitty on his self with, “I’m just trying to help”when I grew frustrated that I couldn’t even get the words out of my mouth. I gave the sku number again and he couldn’t find it. He told me that they had the item in white and I explained that I needed it in black and tried to give more explanation to him and he interrupted me and said “do you want a manager? I can go get a manager.” at which that point I kindly said yes I’d like a manager because I don’t feel like talking to someone who’s going to disrespect me the whole time. The other lady who is at the cash register was super helpful and she helped me almost immediately. The gentleman that I spoke on the phone with originally and the lady that helped me complete my entire transaction deserve major props, but I think that your employee Bill needs a teaching on proper customer service and to learn some patience with customers. I am the customer service manager for my company, and I would never speak to any of our customers in the manner in which he decided to conduct himself. This honestly makes me reconsider using the container store for any future business. This was a disappointing experience. Do better Bill. Nobody is ever gonna be happy when something doesn’t get taken care of properly the first time, but I was never once disrespectful with Bill.
