  I had a very frustrating experience with Best Termite & Pest Control due to poor communication and unprofessional billing practices. On June 19, 2025, I contacted Best Pest requesting a quote to address a rodent issue at a vacant property I was selling. I explicitly asked for a quote and authorized them only to visit the property to assess and provide pricing. Their representative confirmed by email that a supervisor would stop by. After that visit, I never received a quote, proposal, invoice, or any follow-up communication indicating that work had been performed or that services were authorized. Because I heard nothing back, I assumed no work was done and proceeded to hire and pay another pest control company to resolve the issue. In all fairness, I believe what likely happened is that whoever was responsible for scheduling or dispatching may have instructed the field technician to perform work without confirming authorization. I do not know for certain whether work was actually completed, but I believe it probably was. The issue is that I never authorized service, was never informed that service was being performed, and was never given a quote or opportunity to approve the work. Months later, on September 18, 2025, I was unexpectedly contacted by Best Pest demanding payment for services they claimed were rendered. This was the first time I was made aware that they believed work had been performed. The original bill was $200, and a late fee of approximately $20–$30 had been added. Their only concession was to remove the late fee, but I was told that if I did not pay the $200 charge, the account would be sent to collections. When I explained the situation and stated that I believed the correct amount owed was zero, I was met again with threats of collections. In an effort to avoid damage to my credit, I even offered to pay a partial amount as a compromise. That offer was refused. Ultimately, I paid the bill in full under protest solely to avoid dealing with a collections dispute that could negatively impact my credit. This review is being left to document poor communication, lack of clear authorization procedures, and unprofessional handling of a billing dispute. I welcome a factual response from the company and any documentation showing authorization or correspondence indicating that service was approved.

  Best Termite and Pest Control has been servicing us for almost four years. They do an excellent job of protecting the outside of our house and even sprayed our garage for roaches. I recommend using them.

  Quick response to any issue. Josh has maintained my home for at least a decade and always goes above and beyond my expectations. Diligently monitors interior and exterior. A pleasure to have him on the property.

  We have used Best Termite & Pest Control for 30 years now, and they have proven to be a very professional and dependable company, quick to respond to concerns, and providing quick effective solutions to our pest problems. They have helped us to maintain our home in the same tip top condition as it was 3 decades ago! Reggie is our yearly inspector, and he is always very cordial, professional, and thorough. He always fully explains what he inspects for and why, and gives us pointers on what to keep an eye out for between inspections. Our history with this company is exactly why we still use them after so many decades!

  We first used this company to tent our home in 2021 and we were pleased with the service. We recently had a rat get into our home and decided to go with them again. During the initial walk through, the tech found the entry point and also found a possible hiding hole behind our dryer, he said they would seal the entry point but they would not seal the hole behind the dryer because they don’t do that (huh?). I paid for the entry to be sealed and for the 2 week trap and removal service. A tech, Shawn, came the next day and set traps. For the following days, he would come for a couple of minutes to check all traps and leave.. when we realized this rat was a tough catch he continued to haphazardly throw traps wherever with no real plan or strategy. On two occasions he left dirty traps and other garbage on top of my washing machine and left. As we reached the end of the 2 week period I felt like there was no real care to catch this thing and he, in fact, did not complete the two week period. He stopped showing up 2 days before the actual time was up after telling us on two occasions that he wouldn’t leave us hanging - which he actually did. I ended up calling another company who actually came with a plan and finished the job and caught and removed the rat within 2 days. I’m disappointed in my experience with this company the second time around.
