  I have dealt with Cassidi twice within the last 3 weeks and she has always been knowledgeable, patient, and professional as I ordered tiles and grout from Architessa. I am very appreciative of the service received and thankful that she made the experience so pleasant. The tiles ordered were beautiful and in tact.   Don't be fooled by the beautiful showroom. Architessa does not provide high-end, consistent, quality products and does not take responsibility for their mistakes. The people that work there either do not have experience with what they sell, or are purposely doing a 'bait-and-switch'. We recently purchased marble window sills from Architessa for the restoration of our historic Hyde Park house, expecting a high-quality, customer-friendly experience. We were instructed to pickup the order at another location, so I picked up as much of the marble as I could, the marble looked good, and my contractor picked up the rest of the marble and installed it. When they finished the install and we inspected it, we noticed there were two completely different types of marble given to us?! The normal, veined marble from Turkey that was advertised in their store, that I picked up, and a complete white, translucent, no veins at all, chip easy, 'marble' from China that they gave our contractor. This isn't a slight consistency difference, it is a completely different marble from a different country, confirmed with the distributor. We spoke to Kristy about the difference in the marble advertised and what we received, and instead of supporting us and recognizing that this is a different type of marble, and 'let's find the problem', she accused us of not inspecting each piece before installation, and said it is 'the same marble cut differently', which was not true. Anything she could do to deflect responsibility.. In the end, we had to re-purchase additional marble from them just so it would match the first slabs we already bought, plus a huge cost and time to remove the incorrect marble and re-install the 'good' marble. In the end, we had to pay for their incompetence and mistake... We never asked them for a refund, we just wanted to know what happened and the best solution. They only deflected responsibility and put the blame on us. Please go to any other marble/tile distributor where you actually can see what you get and are treated respectfully. * Their response to this below is even misleading and deflective and to my point, not supportive of the customer.. We bought all the marble from them, same order, same time, same store, we weren't trying to match anything! Half the order they gave me was good marble and thoroughly inspected, the latter half was completely different. I added the receipt to images.. They claimed 'they are sorry it didn't meet my expectations', but they never responded to us if it met their expectations. Architessa, did the marble provided to me meet YOUR expectations? Is it standard practice to sell these different marble types on the same order as the same product?
