We ordered a stove from this Lowes and they assisted with the sale of the unit to confirm the right size and said they would handle delivery. Upon delivery the stove was determined to be the wrong size. The lowes associate was. unhelpful, offered to either take the stove back to the store or leave it in my living room. I told him to return it and put my original stove back into place. The lowes associate then somehow flipped my stove off the back of the truck, smashing it onto the street and shattering glass all around. My stove should never had been on their truck, per the work order- they were supposed to leave it on my property after installing the new stove. Not only did they not clean up the glass. When we complained to a manager they were rude and said the claim my stove that they destroyed belongs to them and they had the right to do whatever they wanted with it. This is not acceptable. See the photo smashed stove that I had to clean up. I am currently without a stove because of this.

Good stock but very poor, nearly non-existent customer service. I waited at the paint counter for 10 minutes with other customers, ringing the bell for assistance, and no one came. There were several other PA announcements while we were there asking for assistance in other parts of the store as well. Is there anyone working here except the cashiers? The cashiers are great.

Product was as expected. What was not expected was the poor customer service. At the service desk. At the Pro desk. Then the loaders. I personally would have fired all of them. No one wanted to take responsibility.

I hate to be a Karen and complain, but I hope by sharing my experience, I can help someone avoid what I went through.
I needed the p-trap for my pipes under the kitchen sink replaced, and the employee who helped us picked out the pipes for us & a new incinerator BECAUSE we were told that Lowe’s could install both. We pay for everything (and the plumbing install service), and we’re told someone will contact us within 24 hours to schedule the install.
24 hours later, no one contacts us. 48 hours later, no one contacts us. The next day, we go into the store to try to talk to someone who can help us, and we’re told someone will contact us within 24 hours.
You might’ve already guessed it, but NO ONE CONTACTED US. I call the customer service line the next day, and I’m given 2 phone numbers to call to get ahold of someone. I call the first & it goes straight to voicemail. I call the 2nd, and it says to call back on Monday. I wait until Monday to call, and they tell me… ready… SOMEONE WILL CONTACT YOU WITHIN 24 HOURS 🤣 but can you guess what happened?
No one contacted me. 2 days later, someone DID! And the soonest they could fit me in was in 2 weeks. By this point, I’m upset it took so long to get scheduled, but oh well! There’s no rush for me; I’m just grateful someone will do the service I need.
The day comes, and the “plumber” says he can’t replace the pipes, only the incinerator. He tells us to call a plumber to have that installed…
So you’re telling me you can’t do the service I was told you would do? I call customer service the next day, and they tell me that Lowe’s can’t change pipes… If I had been told that in the beginning, none of this would’ve happened. But because of the incorrect information given to me at the store, I paid for it with my time & money. I hope you don’t have to do the same.
My advice: if you want something installed, don’t choose Lowe’s unless you want to play phone tag and be given false promises.
