I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Louise Diaz from the Gardening Department. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to guide me, gave me great suggestions on choosing the right support for my tomato plants, and even helped organize everything I needed. What truly stood out to me was the young gentleman who assisted in packing my items and bringing them to my car. His attitude was exceptional—polite, respectful, and genuinely kind. It’s honestly so refreshing and admirable to see someone so young working with such dedication and professionalism. While many people his age may be spending their time elsewhere, he is building something meaningful with his work, and it shows. Employees like him deserve real appreciation—they are the future, and it’s people like this who make a lasting impression. I’m truly impressed and grateful that Lowe’s hires such wonderful, high-quality employees. Thank you both for making my experience so positive

Save yourself time and money and just go to Home Depot! The management here is horrible! The main issue is that this store keeps stocking used or broken ClosetMaid products and makes returns unnecessarily difficult. I had to go back three times because the items I bought were already used or missing pieces. When I returned one item that was clearly open and used, the price had increased since my original purchase. I asked them to match the original price, but the staff acted like I was asking for too much before finally adjusting it slightly. My stepdad, a veteran, used his veteran’s discount on the original purchase. After the slight adjustment, they said the discount could no longer be applied because the price had been modified, which made no sense. In the end, I still had to pay the higher price and cover the difference. Lesson learned, and will be going to Home Depot moving forward!

Sometimes you come across an individual who makes your visit to a store or shop something to behold. Today it was Andy at the lumber and construction materials side of the store. He found me a place to park during a high traffic period. And asked if I needed help to load my merchandise. I declined and politely thanked him. However sometime ago I had back surgery, and this kind gesture didn't go unnoticed. When leaving I asked Andy for water, he asked if I meant drinking water, I responded no, for washing my hands. He pointed to a nearby water faucet. While walking back towards my truck he asked me if I needed drinking water as well. I thanked him and asked his name. He told me it was Andy and that if ever I ever was in need of help, he was at my disposal. I asked his position at the store and he said he was a supervisor. Andy was helping his forklift driver position some merchandise. He was helping customers. He had a ready smile and getter attitude. Kudos to Lowe's for hiring and promoting people like Andy. And kudos to Andy for having a winning attitude, despite the heat and the tough nature of the job.

I had one of the worst retail experiences of my life at Lowe’s, thanks entirely to the manager Diego. I went in to purchase two framing nailers clearly marked at $80 on the shelf. Instead of honoring the posted price like any reasonable business should, Diego outright refused to sell them to me at that price. It only got worse from there. Diego was incredibly rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, he accused me of reselling the items, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I own a construction company, which I explained, yet he continued making assumptions and treating me like I was doing something wrong for simply trying to buy tools. To top it all off, he physically took the price tag off the shelf from me, as if that somehow erased the fact that the item was clearly marked. No apology, no attempt to help, no accountability—just arrogance and hostility. Mistakes in pricing happen. What’s unacceptable is a manager who chooses to escalate, insult, and accuse a customer instead of handling the situation with basic professionalism and respect. Diego should not be in a customer-facing leadership role. Lowe’s seriously needs to address how this store is being managed, because if this is the standard, they’re going to keep losing customers—myself included.
