  Pestguard just completed the Thermal Acoustical Pest (TAP) control insulation in our condo, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Gary, our condo association’s pest control expert, recommended the TAP system as a preventative solution and provided detailed information on how it offers both pest control and year-round thermal protection. The Pestguard Termite crew—Joe, Josh, Alanda, and Adel—did an outstanding job during the installation. Joe and Josh arrived early for a thorough pre-inspection and site preparation. Joe carefully inspected the attic while Josh removed the damaged insulation. Joe also suggested repurposing usable insulation that had fallen from the rafters to help increase the R-value and improve efficiency, which I appreciated. Meanwhile, Alanda and Adel prepared the equipment for blowing in the TAP loose-fill cellulose insulation. Alanda worked in the attic with help from Josh to ensure even coverage, and when the job was done, the entire team cleaned up meticulously, leaving the space spotless. I highly recommend Pestguard for their exceptional service and professionalism. Gary’s detailed explanation of the TAP treatment gave me full confidence in the process, and the crew’s thorough work exceeded expectations. I’m looking forward to improved energy efficiency and the added peace of mind that comes with effective pest control.

  As a company that hires individuals representing your company, we feel you should know about the behavior of one of your employees. During a recent stay at one of the many rental properties on Siesta Key, our unit was being inspected for termites. After learning where we were from, one employee became political and the conversation became uncomfortable. We tried to ignore the comments and continued talking with the other employee. More comments were made by the one employee until we had to say something and the other employee appeared to be trying to leave. I have informed the property manager of this behavior and would think it's advisable that some professional training in customer relations should be added to employment.

  Joe Peskin is your expert for rodent problems. Joe was the only person able to exclude rats from my lanai in 2021, enabling me to confidently sell my house without any problems on the property. When I purchased a villa in The Meadows in 2022, Joe successfully excluded my attic space and prevented more rats from entering - the property had been vacant for some time prior to my purchase. Last November (2025), I heard activity in my attic. Joe worked diligently over a few months to determine what was causing the overnight activity. Whatever it was, it was not getting trapped, but just noisily entering and leaving - like my attic was a hotel. This morning, Joe found a trapped juvenile squirrel that had wandered in through the arched openings in the barrel-tile roof that overlaps the flashing. Joe is the answer to your problem. He's honest, straightforward and also happens to be a nice guy.
