  We purchased two mattresses from Mattress Home. One being a more expensive Avocado pillow top mattress and an Avacodo Mattress mattress cover and a second mattress for a guest room. I would not purchase any further mattresses here and wished I had not purchased the two I had. When they came to deliver the mattresses, the delivery men immediatley got flustered when they saw we had stairs/two-story home. We had told the salesperson we had a two-story home and she never mentioned that would be an issue. My husband and son got both mattresses up the stairs no problem. Next issue was when we finally received our mattress cover, it was not what I expected for almost $200 and when I tried to return it unused in the packaging I was told I could not, even though Avocado Mattress has a 30 day return policy. Mattress Home does not allow any returns regardless of Avocado Matresses policies. When you are buying higher end products a good company will allow you to return products. Good companies want happy consumers. Buy direct through the mattress company if you can, it saves a lot of headaches!

  Very friendly service! Our mattress was delivered the same day even though it was December 31 so basically holiday. I am very thankful for fast and smooth delivery.we love our Avocado mattress Thank you so much!

  We ordered three mattresses from the team at Mattress Home – Supercenter on Fruitville Rd in Sarasota, and they were awesome. Great service, friendly staff, and excellent prices. The whole experience was easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! Mike & CJ

  I can safely say that buying a mattress is definitely not one of my favorite things to do. I rank it right up there with trying on bathing suits. However, shopping at Mattress Home with Carole as my guide, it was delightful. After I explained what I wanted, she was able to guide me to the ones that may fit my needs without having to lie on every mattress she had. She is very knowledgeable and can explain the makings of each mattress. Her honesty is striking. She will tell you which bed will hold up and which one is not worth the money. I would shop there again and I suggest you do the same.

  I purchased an Avocado mattress from Mattress Home after being reassured by Carol that I was protected by Avocado’s manufacturer policies. Two weeks after my purchase, my mattress went on sale for $520 less. According to Avocado’s official Price Matching Policy, customers are entitled to a price adjustment if the price drops within 30 days—even during holiday sales – but Mattress Home refused to honor it. As suggested by Carol, I contacted customer service requesting a refund of the price difference and received no response, twice. I also called and was promised a callback from Carol—which never happened. Avocado, who was copied on the same letter, confirmed the refund should have been handled by Mattress Home, but when pressed admitted that Authorized Dealers are not required, only “encouraged”, to adhere to their policies. I’m posting this as a warning to future customers: Do NOT rely on Mattress Home to follow Avocado’s published policies, even though Mattress Home is an authorized dealer. Use them only as a showroom to test mattresses in person, then buy directly from Avocado if you want guaranteed customer protection, responsive customer service and access to holiday discounts. I lost $520 because of this.
