I had $150 worth of products ready to check out at 10:45 A.M. Once again there was a line for the 4 "self-checkout" regeisters that were open. For some reason, the other half were closed. (SELF Checkout) I don't understand. This time, I dropped my items in one of the isle displays and walked out. It's really very sad that Lowes makes so little effort to help customers make a PURCHASE.

Do not buy the TCL wine and beverage cooler, it broke after 2 months and lowes won't except it back and TCL warranty service is not helpful either. $500 bucks down the drain.

DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEE….about 1:30 today, I was trying to buy some 4 x 4 pine lumber at the Lowe’s on Fruitville Road in Sarasota. Once I found this lumber, I noticed that the entire stack as well as all the individual pieces were completely covered in mold. After several minutes of moving these mold covered pieces around, I finally found one piece that did not have mold on it, and of course, it was in the very back of the stack. After some maneuvering, I was able to get the one clean piece off of the stack. One of the safety stops at the front of the stack was missing and a couple pieces fell on the floor. I picked these pieces up and set them back on the stack, but left others set aside because I didn’t want to ingest more mold. As I was beginning to leave this location, one of the employees in a camo vest, driving a forklift, drove by and made some comments and looked toward the stack of lumber that I had not put back in place. He stopped his forklift, got off, and he and another employee walked directly back to that stack and started putting the lumber back on the stack and muttering comments that I could not hear. I walked back to the stack of lumber and explained to the guys that it was I that did not put the lumber back because it was covered in mold, and I am allergic to it and therefore left it alone. In a very disrespectful, almost aggressive tone in his voice, he started talking back to me and asking me if he was talking to me. I merely explained to him the reason why I did not put the lumber back on the stack. He continued to talk very disrespectful to me. I decided to leave and told him I would be speaking with the store manager. I have been shopping at this Lowe’s for nearly 4 years and have always been treated very well and found the employees to be very helpful and courteous…..this was not the case with this employee. He should be driving a forklift on a construction site and not be allowed to interact with customers. By the way….there is the issue with Lowes storing lumber inside that is completely covered with mold…..I’m sure I’m not the only person allergic to it.

Have had frustrating experience here. Had an unhelpful experience with customer service. The older female employee sounded like she didn’t want to help at all. The young male employee at least did his best to assist, so I’d praise him for efforts
