Lowe’s Sanford location is extremely helpful and always a pleasure. I’ve recently been doing some home projects and have ordered a lot of things online and had to pick them up curbside. This Lowe’s is fairly average overall. It has the usual range of home improvement items and does what you need it to do, but nothing really stands out in a major way.
The biggest issue seems to be staffing. It often feels a bit short staffed, which can make it harder to find help when you actually need it. If you know exactly what you’re there for, it’s manageable enough, but if you need guidance or assistance, patience may be required.
A functional store for basic home improvement needs, but staffing can make the experience feel a little thin.
Not every Lowe’s is built to impress—some are simply there to help you finish the project and get back home.

I tried to take advantage of the cardholder promotion, but was not allowed to purchase everything I put in my cart and was charged for an extra item I did not receive. I only was able to get half of what I came to the store for, which is an inconvenience. The woman with drawn on eyebrows working Friday, April 17 allowed me to put 3 carts to the side to eventually checkout but was very unhelpful otherwise. While scanning, she almost swept my feet and kept making passive aggressive comments about how I was tracking dirt and should have checked out in garden because I MIGHT GET CONFUSED TO WHAT I SCANNED. My whole point was to take advantage of the cardholder promotion, so separate transactions were useless. The woman with the drawn on eyebrows accused me of not scanning many items and then refused to sell me several plants, pavers and cement blocks. This was a very disappointing experience.

I bought a tool set early in the day before noon. I had the email of confirmation that my order was ready for pickup my gf bought it for me in my we put it in my through the Lowe’s website name because we put it in my name and my phone number through the Lowe’s website and they refused to give me the order and even though I showed them the text on my phone with confirmation number and everything and the email. This is the most terrible embarrassing service.I’ve ever had. I bought a mechanics tool set for a purpose I needed it by a certain time which was the entire purpose behind a store pickup. so I could just swing in and pick it up. So that I’d have what I needed to obviously fix a car not another person’s car mine. I only have a certain amount of time to do what I needed to do and instead I have to wait and start my job late because of their incompetence. and likely won’t be able to do the job because I won’t have enough time. A lady named Liz and Shaneka one of which was a manager said only she could pick it up they wasted my time and my gas for no reason. Next time I’ll know better to stick with Amazon at least I don’t have to worry about whether or not I’m going to be able to get what I paid for when I’m supposed to.
