Imagine my frustration as I am in store trying to purchase something for a job and am stopped THREE times by men with Lowe’s vests on trying to sell solar, etc.! One of them even suggested I shop Amazon to find a better selection. You are and will lose business if this is the new normal.

Worst Retail experience ever. If you value being treated like you matter. Avoid at all costs. Was at customer service over 2 hours dealing with a faulty water heater. Got giving their phone for a "manufacture issue" on a water heater and was told. That's all we can do. Dealt with a few managers and was told " we can't get credit on it. So we can't help you. Doesn't matter it's 40 degrees outside and I dont have hot water. Doesn't matter that the manufacturer gave Lowe's credit for 3 parts of the heater and said do it yourself or "maybe someone can come out and if they do and it's a manufacture defect it's covered". One issue was a broken spout out of the box. So there's no way to prove it came like that. So I would be on the hook for the WHOLE visit. Instead of doing ANYTHING to help. The staff pretended they could not do anything to help me when clearly I was given the run around. Both me and my wife worked for Lowe's as recently as 2022 for a combined 22 years. We know the store could help, ways to "get credit for issues" or "eat some loss" or ANYTHING and have repeatedly been apart of "Customer had some bad luck with X product. We don't HAVE to, but we'll do this to look out for them". Not a single F was given about the struggle I went through with the product , the issues we were facing and ESPECIALLY any assistance that could be given. Was even told to call the 1800 number in the front of their store, only for THEM to tell my wife "They only deal with online order problems , the store will help me with my current issue" you know.... When the STORE told me to call. So run around, ZERO desire to help or compassion. While I understand the "standard operation procedure" part of it, there's also the "Being human" part of it. Which this store lacked, SEVERELY. Stores like Fern Park, Winter Park, West colonial WOULD NEVER put on the sheer smugness, dismissiveness and pour attitude displayed at this location. Not like it matters to their bottom line. I will, in the future , venture a few extra miles to visit other Lowe's locations and do all I can to avoid this one.

I WON the Lowe's monthly SURVEY drawing! It is a real thing. Regardless of that, I always shop LOWES (instead of the others) bc they are non-political and unbiased. They don't take a position on social or political issues - some say that is cowardice, but I say it is just good, smart business. Religion and politics have other forums. They DO sponsor community charitable events, so you may see the occasional Boy or Girl Scout, or school sports team out front raising money for uniforms. That is a good thing. My LOWES is a solid part of our neighborhood community. Sorry to hear of the occasional mishaps in these other reviews. We all have occasional SNAFUs, and we all can do better. That's called Life. Meanwhile, let's appreciate with gratitude all the resources we do have!

Walked in the door and headed straight to the tools. Had a handful of tools when asked, “what can I help you find?” Didn’t need any help, as there were plenty of options. Checkout was easy. Lowe’s is getting better.

Buyer beware! We purchased a new home that needed a total renovation. Because I had a good experience with Lowe's in the past, I decided to give it another go. Sadly, I cannot say this time went as hoped. From the start, we saw staff struggle to respond, give us quotes, and coordinate among the different departments. Everything was very confusing and we lost precious time because of the disorganized staff. At that point it was too late to change course as we had already invested over $70k+ with windows, fence, kitchen appliances, flooring, bathrooms, etc. Besides several delivery issues (broken toilet, missing pallet of tiles, wrong dryer, etc.), we finally saw the light when the final project was completed - the windows. At this point, it was December 23rd. We were excited to not only be in our home but to be able to shop for a new grill with our hard-earned "my Lowe's money" (i.e. the rewards program) UNTIL... we were in the store being told on January 3rd that THE POINTS HAD EXPIRED ON DECEMBER 31ST!!!!! Nobody told us that we literally ONLY had a week to use them!!!! On our account online it didn't show that they were about to expire - WHAT A TOTAL RIP OFF!! After calling customer service and speaking with a manager, we were told there is nothing that can be done. So basically, we were SOL. Absolutely diabolical ponzi scheme. Never shopping at Lowe's again.
