So my husband Joe & I decided to do a project of buying Border Bricks and weed fabric and lay rock etc. Ourselves. Last week Two employees named Steven & Paul were extremely helpful getting all our bricks loaded on the flatbed and then into our car. What a great team they make. Today we had to go back for more Landscaping Bricks & we were greeted by another employee Thomas in the Garden Center who said “No worries I can do all the bricks myself and load them for you no problem. Steven came along once the bricks were on the flatbed and he helped Thomas load all the Bricks into our car. We just can’t say enough good things about all the help that we received from these three employees at the Lowes at 2000 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte Florida. Tried to use my perfectly good Lowes credit card that I have not used for several months. They stopped the transaction at the register and had to call credit services. They asked me way to many personal questions that I eventually refused to answer in public. I hung up and used my regular card.

Lowe’s in Port Charlotte is well run and reliable. The store is clean, organized, and stocked with everything for home improvement — tools, appliances, lumber, paint, landscaping, and more. It’s easy to find what you need, and the signage is clear.
The staff here are helpful and know their products. If you ask for help, they don’t just point; they actually take you to the aisle and make sure you get the right item. The customer service desk handles returns quickly, and pickup for online orders is smooth.
The garden center is especially nice — healthy plants, good selection, and employees who know what they’re talking about.
Prices are fair, parking is easy, and loading is convenient. Overall, it’s one of the better home improvement stores in the area. Fast, friendly, and dependable every time.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had, in my life have I ever felt like I was being discriminated against! My husband and I went to buy our Christmas Tree and not just 1 we went for 2, we went inside to get the base and we also bought the tree collar’s, when we went to pay my husband had recently gone to the bank and took money out, the BANK gave him the old $50 bills which we have not had any issues until today, the lady at the register put them through the machine but it would not pass so my husband said to call someone else to see if they could help, 2 people came which I’m not sure why but that didn’t matter, the one employee tried and the other person who was not in uniform who I later found out is Josh the Assistant Manager also tried on the same machine they proceeded to tell my husband that they could not take the bills, they did not even try to help, my husband told them why, is there no other way to try, Josh asked us to leave I became upset because why do I have to leave, We should not be treated as though we made the bills at home we are not at fault for the bank giving us those bills, he then said to me that he would trespass me and I said who are you he answered me with”nobody “ how is that any way to treat a customer?!?! They walked away and did nothing to help us! The customers behind us even said they were rude and the register lady even apologized on their behalf! My husband went back inside to get the GMs number and Josh came back at him telling him he would trespass him and for what reason! I just never had such a bad experience at this store I felt horrible he really made me feel like some kind of delinquent, he could have at least taken us inside to try another machine or try something anything but he claimed to be a NOBODY! Rob I hope you know who your employees are and how they treat their customers!
