Walked in the door of Lowe’s in Pensacola was greeted by a nice young lady named Mikhala. He was very pleasant and welcoming. I had been sent to the store by my husband with an item I knew absolutely nothing about, but she looked it up and got me pointed in the right direction so I was able to get in and out of the store fast and back to the emergency we were dealing with thank you Michaela. Great job.

I visited this establishment for the first time today. The first thing that was said to me from the lady in customer service was " You should go to Walmart". I mean what kind of employee sends customers away before she even knew what I was searching for. I felt judged as I walked away from their laughing behind me. A few moments later two younger males assisted me just long enough to let me know they didn't know how to find anything. At least they were sincere in their ignorance. It didn't even occur to them that they might help me look for my items. Come on guys, take some lessons from Publix in customer service. At last when I tried to check out a simple drink from the pro service desk the younger girl couldn't figure it out so I asked the older lady behind her if she could assist only to hear her say " I don't know anything about that". It must not take very much to be an employee there. I don't think I will be going back there. Bad experience altogether.

Lara in customer service needs some good training, she does not help the customers well.
Edit to add: George who made some keys for me was good. What a difference!

1/5 Stars – Beware of Unnecessary Extra Charges and Poor Customer Service
I recently had countertops installed through Lowe’s, and while the final product looked beautiful, the entire process left a very sour taste.
During the quoting phase, they specifically charged us for two separate visits because they claimed the backsplash required a second trip (likely one for templating/measurement and one for installation). In reality, the installers completed everything—including the backsplash—in a single visit. There was no legitimate need for the extra trip or charge.
When I pointed this out and requested an adjustment to remove the unnecessary fee, Lowe’s flatly refused. They stood by the original quote without any flexibility or explanation, even though the work was done efficiently in one go.
This felt like an unnecessary upcharge that padded their profits at my expense. The beautiful countertops are now overshadowed by the frustration of being overcharged and dismissed when trying to resolve it. It’s disappointing that a company this large would nickel-and-dime customers over something that was clearly not required.
Bottom line: Be extremely diligent when reviewing your quote—ask detailed questions about visit charges, backsplash specifics, and what’s truly necessary. If they try to build in extra fees for “multiple visits,” push back hard and consider getting competing quotes from local fabricators. Lowe’s turned what should have been a positive upgrade into a frustrating experience. Avoid this headache if you can!

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
