    If I could give this store negative stars or 0 I would… How do I begin: the older lady with the tattoos in the lumber department was super impatient and rude. Almost all of the employees lack decent customer service skills. The drinks in the lumber department were past their dates as well.

    DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE KIDS WORKSHOP HERE!! I’m not one to write many reviews but this experience deserves one as I feel like opinions and reviews change nothing in these big box stores but at least I can caution other parents. We always enroll our child one month in advance for the Lowe’s kids workshop. We arrived 20 minutes ahead of our scheduled time at 12PM but figured to ask if we can start early. To our surprise when we went up to the employee, there were no more kits to build. Tells me either they were just giving them out first come first serve or poor planning in not having enough. My guess is the latter as they didn’t have someone checking as other Lowe’s do. Regardless, this falls on management by poor training or preparation. As we were leaving, other kids with aprons and reservations were turned away. As a warning to parents, no matter if you reserve your spot one month out, you’re not guaranteed a kit and the employees could care less.

    I normally don’t write reviews, but this store pushed me to it. I went in needing help with a simple issue — an order that was wrong and missing items. I asked for a manager because the associate couldn’t fix it. The manager finally came over after I waited almost 20 minutes, and I swear he looked like I interrupted him from doing absolutely nothing. I explained the situation clearly, showed him the receipt, showed him the order confirmation, everything. He barely even looked at it. He just shrugged, told me “there’s nothing I can do,” and tried to walk away before I was even done talking. No apology. No effort. No solution. NOTHING. I’ve worked retail before, so I know when someone genuinely can’t fix something — but this dude didn’t even TRY. He didn’t check the system. He didn’t radio anyone. He didn’t look in the back. He didn’t call another department. He literally stood there acting annoyed that a customer needed help in a store he’s supposed to be running. Other employees even looked uncomfortable, like they knew he wasn’t doing his job. In the end, the issue that should’ve taken 5 minutes turned into an hour of walking in circles because the manager refused to handle it. And the messed-up part? Another employee finally helped me — doing EXACTLY what the manager said “couldn’t be done.” If this is the leadership here, no wonder the store is falling apart. I’ll just be going to Home Depot from now on.
