  Sharing my very disappointing experience with Nicole. What started out as a pleasant experience on a Thursday evening with a phone call to inquire about the units and pricing Nicole was helpful and knowledgeable. I had several options to think over and she said she would follow up with a phone call on Friday morning to see what I had decided. I never heard back from her (people get busy, I get it) I called Saturday morning to secure a unit and spoke with Nicole again. She was again helpful and I thanked her for all her help etc. At the end of the conversation she asked if I would mind doing a Google review about my experience. I said absolutely, I sure would. The days we live in people/businesses rely on these Google reviews more than ever! Here’s where it all turned… Saturday I began moving things into my storage, keep in mind I’ve never met Nicole in person at this point only 2 times on the phone. I was greeted by her walking around my car, going in and out of the building never saying a word (I had no idea who she was) until she comes up and says “can you let this gentleman use a cart since you have one already” the gentleman wasn’t there when I was unloading my car and I was using 2 carts because they were available and nobody else was using them. I already had one full and the second one half way. I said sure as soon as I’m finished this load. Then she made a face and pointed at my cart. I had baskets of canned goods and spices in baskets from my pantry. She points, looks down with the most ugly face and says “are you storing food” I then replied, I was… am I not supposed to? She said “gosh no, read your lease” “ ugh” I then said ok then I won’t, I honestly didn’t know. I had about 5 to 6 trips to make with my car filled to the top! I went ahead and brought the baskets up and was going to take home at the end of the day because I needed every bit of space in the car to haul everything. I left and came back with another trip and this is how I was approached/met when I got off the elevator. (Still keep in mind she never introduced herself but clearly I knew at this point who she was) she was leaning against the yellow poles with her ankles crossed and one arm on top of the pole and said as I stepped out of the elevator… “I thought I told you that you can’t keep food here” “I’m going to have to cancel your contract “ SO RUDE!!! I said, I’m not keeping it here, she said “ I watched you bring it up” I then said, yes, and I’m not leaving it here. I have about 4 more trips and I don’t have the room to keep in the car. She said as she pointed at my car “ you have plenty room” I said I will take it home after my last trip. She kept on and on while other people were standing there and I finally said leave me alone, you’re trying to intimidate me and I definitely won’t be doing a Google review now. She said “ oh I don’t need a review from you” I began to walk to my car and she turned and followed me and said “ I’m going to notate your file “ I just got in my car and drove off and continued to make my trips. The last trip was about 4:20 and Nicole had the entire area where you drive through blocked off with cones and she was blowing the area. She didn’t once stop as myself and others were trying to unload our cars. We had to park in front of the garage. She continued to blow the area as the debris got on myself and others as we were trying to get to the elevators…. She NEVER stopped out of curtesy for anyone. I unloaded the rest of my things AND loaded the baskets as promised with my canned goods and spices as I said I would at the end of the day. WOW, this is the customer service you will receive when renting a storage unit from Nicole. I’m not sure how in the world she would have the audacity to treat a customer this way. It’s completely unacceptable. I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to either. You got yourself a very well deserved review. Another note….Go see Darrell at the Santa Rosa Beach location. He’s top notch and extremely pleasant to work with.
