He was in formed that that they did not have a replacement in stock. They sent him to Melbourne Lowe's. Sent back to Palm Bay for a credit gift card. We returned to Palm Bay on Friday the 30th with the water heater in tow...Thank God we were greeted with Beth at the return desk. She worked diligently to figure out why our item showed as having been already returned. After having the assistant manager Jared? get involved they found that there was indeed the same water heater in stock. A very polite and kind employee , Arthur, was called in to help with getting the WH out of our truck and into the store. This customer service has to be some of the most wonderful treatment we've had in 70+ years of life. 5 stars to these 3 employees🙂
- RRRayJan 24, 20261.0How to lose a long-term Lowe’s customer 1. Ignore a customer at the return desk and talk to another employee for five minutes on personal matters. 2. Not accept back a ($3) item without a receipt and ask for your phone number and other information like your common criminal. As a lot of people, I return extra hardware items when a project is completed, so they don’t clutter up the garage and I am not sure when this corporate mandated requirements started of not accepting back items without a receipt, but from now on I will be going to the Orange hardware store known as Home Depot. Where customer service seems to be more of a priority.

Customer service can be a little hit or miss and sometimes you have to track down an employee for help. Overall it is a good store and I still shop here regularly.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
