- JRJustice RodriguezMar 13, 20261.0I had a very frustrating experience at Extra Space Storage today. When I arrived to move boxes into my unit, there were no carts available to help transport items. I had to walk all the way to the other entrance of the building just to find one single cart. The parking lot was empty, so there was absolutely no reason for carts to be unavailable. On top of that, once we got inside, the lights were not turning on in several aisles, which made it difficult to even see where we were going. To make matters worse, the building was extremely hot. We specifically pay for a temperature controlled unit, so the fact that it felt hot inside defeats the whole purpose of paying extra for that feature. Overall, this experience was very disappointing. Basic things like available carts, working lights, and proper temperature control should be standard. If these issues continue, it really makes you question whether the facility is being properly managed.
