I was out of the country and had prepaid for my storage unit, setting up auto-pay with my card on file. I assumed everything was taken care of. However, when I returned, I discovered that they had auctioned off my storage unit—along with all of my belongings! Before I left, I specifically informed them to call a different number if there were any issues with the payment. Not only did they ignore that instruction, but their communication was also dismal. I updated my address months ago, and they still had the wrong one on file, claiming they were sending notifications that I never received. To make matters worse, the facility itself was always dirty and poorly maintained. I witnessed rodent problems on more than one occasion, which made me incredibly uneasy about the condition of my belongings. I've been a loyal customer for years, always prepaying to avoid any issues, and I've never encountered problems like this before. To lose everything—my pictures, computers, and around $100,000 worth of property—is simply unacceptable. I trusted them to take care of my belongings, and they completely failed me. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for storage solutions unless you want to risk losing everything without proper communication or care from the staff. This experience has been a nightmare, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
