I recently built a new house in silver springs Florida and made several large purchases from the Lowe’s on Silver Springs blvd in Ocala.
This location is grossly understaffed , knowing this, I look up on the Lowe’s app the locations of every item I need before I arrive at the store. The few times I needed assistance I found it almost impossible to find an employee to help even after asking a customer service associate to have an employee meet me in the aisle I needed help in. After waiting for 15 minutes or more I just left without that item. Today I needed keys made. I went directly to the customer service counter and asked them to page an employee to meet me at the key area. After 15 minutes and several Lowe’s employees walking by without even making eye contact with me I finally shouted at an employee walking by and said, is anyone going to help me? Two days prior to this incident I attempted to buy 27 gallon plastic bins. There were 200 plastic bins in the aisle by the appliances with no lids. I chased down several Lowe’s employees to help me find lids. They sent me on a wild goose chase around the entire store looking for lids myself with no luck finding them. I’ve also experienced this same horrible customer service waiting in the wire section for an associate to unlock the cage so I could buy a roll of wire. I’m looking forward to the new Home Depot opening up close by so this Lowe’s location will experience a loss in business that will hopefully force them to step up customer service.

Decided to purchased a new fridge from Lowe’s instead of off of Facebook marketplace because I wanted to be insured that I would have a working fridge. Bought a brand new fridge that stopped working one week into having it. The manufacturer sent out a tech to look at it, and it had a failed motherboard. Now two weeks later, I still have a broken fridge and am waiting for the parts to be repaired and replaced by the manufacturer. Lowes will do nothing to help, their return window for appliances is 48 hours, which sounds pretty ridiculous for an expensive appliance. DO NOT PURCHASE appliances from Lowes, they do not take care of their customers.

I have tried multiple times to get a hold of customer service to take care of an issue that happened last week and a Becky was going to call me back which never happened . I can’t see to talk with a live person. Very disappointed with the customer service and support team at this location.

You missed out on a nice sale today because this store once again, only has self checkout open. Sorry, I do not work here and until you get full time clerks that will check me out with all of the stuff I want to buy I will keep driving across town to other stores. ACE Hardwar, Home Depot and other local hardware stores sell the same products and they have clerks that actually want to help their customers.

I had a question about a trailer, I wanted to purchase (over $4000). Online chat couldn’t answer it, told me to call the store. When I called the store, I had a conversation with AI. It could only tell me, what I had read in the description. AI finally transfers me to a store associate (which is all I wanted in the first place). Spent a total of 38 minutes on the phone. Most of it on hold. I never spoke with anyone, except the associate that asked me to hold. I finally hung up. I was so disgusted, I was motivated to write this review. Which, I almost never do. Maybe someone who read this can answer my questions? I think when you are going to spend that much money, you deserve to ask a few questions.
