- SSstarFeb 25, 20265.0At the Oakland park location, Jose, the manager was super helpful, patient with my looking at several different units and answering my questions. The facility is clean and easily accessed. I had looked at two other storage facilities before choosing ExtraSpace. I chose ESS because of the managers I met at two different ExtraSpace facilities (Jose & Fernando). They are both professional, friendly, patient and helpful. Needless to say, this is not what I found at the two other companies and for me, this made a huge difference. The pricing was very similar, but having an actual & professional manager at the facility was a big deciding factor.

The climate control works great (no weird humidity smell like some units), and everything looks well maintained. The staff were also really easy to deal with — friendly, straightforward, and actually helpful without being pushy. Move-in was simple, and access has been smooth so far with no weird rules or surprises. Overall just a solid, stress-free experience. If you’re looking for storage in the Fort Lauderdale area and want somewhere clean and reliable, this is a great option.
