- LKL K5 days ago5.0We decided to fire our pool cleaning company and decided to try it ourselves. I came into Leslie’s today to have my water checked! (First time). I am not going to lie about the fact that I am clueless. Angela was so patient with me and talked me through everything and even showed me what to get for the chemicals. A line was starting to form and I was getting nervous, but she was so sweet and amazing! We have previously bought a robotic vacuum cleaner from Leslie’s and it’s still going strong and we love it! Best purchase ever! Thanks again, Angela for your kindness and knowledge!

The older gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and explained that we could bring in a water sample anytime we wanted and they'd tell us what was needed. The last three times we came in, a younger guy waited on us and was a little snarky for my liking, especially considering we have spent hundreds of dollars on chemicals since our first visit. Today was the last straw when my wife had to deal with him. I'll spare you the details but we won't be going back.
- KBK. B. BrownOct 17, 20181.0When I moved to North Port a couple of years ago I went to Leslie’s to learn how to manage my pool. They recommended their pool school for $115. The guy came out and spent about 15 minutes. A quick review. He went so fast I only caught about half of what he went over. Zero reference materials were offered. I started to go to the store weekly to have my water tested. 2 of their 3 employees were very good. They would now and then recommend an adjustment and explain why. Often no adjustment was recommended. The third employee, a very gruff and surly older women, consistently told me my pool was a mess. Seemed whenever she was on duty it cost me $50 in chemicals. Before long I got tired of dodging her and started going to my neighborhood Sparkle Brite. The owner has two stores in North Port. Like night and day. Consistent guidance. No surprises. I’ll never go back to Leslie’s. That one employee will cost them thousands in revenue in the years ahead. Not smart.
