Disabled individuals need to be able to go through the aisles in the gardening department...almost all the aisles had carts with flowers in the way...not backed up along the aisle but actually blocking aisles...
The heat alone is horrendous and it really is frustrating to have to back up or try to get through when there are ppl that are behind you or in front trying to get through avoiding those aisles...please do better...and inside they didn't have the cashier at the one and only register...it's hard for older individuals or disabled ppl to check themselves out...the girls outside were backed up and had ppl bringing things from inside to help them...
If it's a hassle to shop and also check out, I'd rather go to Ace or Home Depot...
17 customers is the count at this moment and probably 6 already left prior...
Please do better!!!

I wanted a specific item that wasn't available at every store so I called ahead. The automated system told me it was available at this Lowe's (and not the other 3 closer Lowe's to me) yet it would not put it on hold. I got humans on the phone yet they could only put it on hold if I paid in full, yet said they could not give a Military discount over the phone. Because there were three in stock I chanced just showing up the next day. I asked an employee where I could find the item. I had the item number so he directed me to the correct aisle and bay... which was locked. So I had to find a second employee to open it. It's $429, I don't care if they lock it up, just tell me so I can bring an employee the first time. So after I have it in my cart and left to my own devices, and I am forced to the self checkout for lack of anything else. The machine there will not tell me how much the tax is on each item nor the Military discount. It just gives me a total larger than the the total of the individual prices combined. The employee watching the sell checkout assured me it would be on the receipt. So I paid. (4 items, about $500 dollars and $1.56 military discount) which is whatever, yet why in God's name couldn't they tell me yesterday over the phone there was $0% military discount on my item I wanted to reserve?! I would have paid over the phone so it was ready when I arrived after my hour-ish drive. I understand you can't give a discount on everything, just don't be so cryptic about it. I felt i had to jump through too many hoops and help them checking myself out which was less informative than the old cashier way.

This Lowe’s has a really interesting mix of people—you’ve got a strong working-class construction crowd alongside a steady flow of retirees, which gives the store a unique pace and feel depending on when you visit.
One detail that stands out is the large analog-style clock near the garden department. It’s not something you typically see in stores anymore, and it gives the space a bit of character—almost like a small nod to an older, steadier way of doing things.
Overall, it’s a solid, functional location. It can get busy at times, especially with the contractor crowd, but it does what you need it to do.
A dependable store with a unique atmosphere and a small touch of character that sets it apart.

Steve R. from Lowe's, store #2577, was the associate at this store location that assisted me, and is the reason I am writing this review today.
Steve gave excellent customer service, and went above and beyond to find what I was looking for.
He was very knowledgeable about all of the products and appliances in his department in which he worked in. (appliance and cabinet department)
He also guided me in the right direction to pick out an additional product that I was also needing at the time of my visit to Lowe's.
On top of all of the help he has already given, Steve brought me to one of his systems, and helped me activate my Lowe's card, considering I am not tech-savvy at all!
I really appreciate the time, effort, and patience Steve R. took to take care of me at this Lowe's location. I will gladly go out of my way (I reside in Winter Garden) to drive and visit this Lowe's again just to recieve excellent customer service and help from Steve R. again soon!

Very rude manager. I bought a ladder that had a $119 price tag. The ladder was really $189. Somebody had screwed up the tag. She didn't even apologize for the issue. I'll be going to Home Depot or Ace here in Mt Dora. After the response I got from the text below, I am no longer a Lowe's customer in Mount Dora.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
