  I recently purchased sod from this small, family-owned business and was very happy with the quality. We installed it ourselves and it’s already rooting well and looks healthy, even though it isn’t fully green yet due to the winter season. Because it’s cut sod, you do need to handle it gently when loading and installing or it can pull apart—just like any plant. They are first-come, first-served with limited help, and weather affects when they can cut, so timing can vary. They were upfront about this from the start, and everything went just as expected. One important note for buyers: they only accept cash or checks. And just like any plant, sod will only turn out as good as the care you give it after you take it home. Watering, soil prep, and weather all matter—so how it performs long term is on the buyer, not the business. Overall, highly recommend supporting this family business for great sod and honest service.

  Dont bother buying sod here. the pallet we got did not cover the area we were told that it would. Over half of the pieces were small scraps that were not whole and just falling apart, the pieces on top however looked good.
