  I found plastic, metal, electrical wire, even a whole pair of metal nail clippers in the "organic" compost they sell. I would have expected some plastic debris being that the place is right next to the land fill, but be upfront about your product if it's mixed with God only knows what from the dump.

  I had a conversation with Peter, the head of the shipping department, and the experience was extremely unpleasant. He was abusive over the call, and their behavior felt completely unprofessional possibly even fraudulent. Honestly, it was the worst call experience I’ve ever had. Before taking up such a role, he should consider going back to school to learn some basic manners

  Edit 12/13: I’ve had successful raised garden beds for 2 years now. I ordered from here to significantly expand my garden at a lesser cost while supporting local. The mix I purchased was supposed to be a mix of top soil and compost that was suitable for a raised bed garden. NOTHING grows in the beds. I’ve amended with organic fertilizers, worm tea, liquid seaweed, mushroom compost and nothing grows. My original garden beds are thriving. But anything in this soil doesn’t grow much past it’s first true set of leaves. I am extremely disappointed and wish I had just purchased bags of soil again. I have also noticed plastic and other junk which makes me very sad as I have worked so hard to keep an organic garden and I was assured that this soil was organic. Original post: We got 3 cubic yards of soil delivered to our home and had a great experience! The delivery guy was very nice and carefully dropped the soil where we wanted. The soil seems to be very healthy and was a good price too! Looking forward to all the veggie gardening this fall. Will be buying from them again in the future!
