Staff Carelessness
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this Lowe’s location. I accidentally left my prescribed sunglasses in a cart but quickly called the store. They confirmed they had my glasses in their possession. When I returned to pick them up the next day, the same employee said they were gone - disappeared from behind their counter.
What's infuriating is the complete lack of accountability or support. The manager's response was dismissive and cold: "We're not responsible for your personal items" - even though they had physically taken my glasses and kept them at their desk. They offered zero help, no investigation, and claimed the 24/7 cameras showed nothing. How can something vanish from a staffed counter with surveillance everywhere and no one takes responsibility?
These are prescription sunglasses - expensive and not easy to replace quickly. The carelessness and indifference from staff made this situation so much worse. Terrible customer service.
