- JJJWFeb 20, 20262.0Drove 45 miles to get pvc parts to repair my family's freeze damaged water pump on a Sunday. Apparently 50 others had the same problem and were in a frenzy near the pvc isle. No Lowe's employees would come near and refused to help any customers. With sold out segments of pipe and customers placing the parts in the wrong bins it made for an impossible task without help from some very very kind knowledgeable customers. Not a single Lowe's employee would help. They literally scurried away to avoid being asked a question. There were elderly people there also who were quite obviously trying to restore their water to their homes for drinking and bathing . Heartless Lowe's employees. Where were the managers? Worst behavior I've seen by a company like this. I took my son and left disgusted. The only helpful person was a kind cashier who gave me directions on my way out of town. Ended up going to stones hardware in Perry Florida the next morning. They had all of the pieces we needed and were personable to boot! Thankful for small town hospitality.

And the store is really really hot. This store was great right up until a couple months ago. They must have a new manager or something that's playing awful music and running the thermostat up.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
