    Bought two craftsman chainsaws used one it was junk. Tried to take the second one back. Still in original box not used. Can’t return. I avoid lowes now.

    I am a longtime Lowe's customer and have been an MVP for several years while operating a handyman business. This is not my Lowe's of choice but it was the closest one that had the item I needed in stock. I ordered a dishwasher through the app early Wednesday afternoon, received notification a couple hours later that it was ready for pickup, showed up first thing Thursday morning by 7:00 a.m. and it took almost 30 minutes for them to bring it from the back of the store to the front of the store. I may have been overly agitated by the "check in" process at the kiosk (I don't typically order things from Lowe's for pickup so this was a new and seemingly unnecessary growing pain). Generally speaking, the individual that I want to greet me at the customer service desk at 7:00 a.m. should to be a brilliant ray of sunshine, a being beacon of hope on the horizon, and that is not what they had at this location today. I don't know why they have a "pickup zone" if they're not going to bother to have things ready when you get there to pick them up. Time is money and I lost both today waiting on something that should have taken 2 minutes. I shouldn't have to check in for the order pickup when I leave my house to make the hour-long drive to get there for it to actually be ready when I arrive. There is a significant difference between being ready for pickup and just having the item available for pickup. Additionally, when I looked at the email confirmation that the order was ready for pickup, the email stated that Lowe's delivers for free everyday...but when I place the order, they were going to charge me $39 for delivery.

    NEVER have I been treated with such disrespect as I was today at this Lowe’s (which is the location and store I frequent for most of my projects). Cathy, at customer service treated me terribly and as if I was the biggest hassle to have ever walked through the doors, as I was in there trying to make a simple return with my two children. When I asked to speak to a manager, none were around, and another employee said she was above Cathy, so she could “take care of my concerns”. I will not be returning to this location, or a Lowe’s in Lakeland again. I will start doing my purchasing at elsewhere.
