I am a longtime Lowe's customer and have been an MVP for several years while operating a handyman business. This is not my Lowe's of choice but it was the closest one that had the item I needed in stock.
I ordered a dishwasher through the app early Wednesday afternoon, received notification a couple hours later that it was ready for pickup, showed up first thing Thursday morning by 7:00 a.m. and it took almost 30 minutes for them to bring it from the back of the store to the front of the store. I may have been overly agitated by the "check in" process at the kiosk (I don't typically order things from Lowe's for pickup so this was a new and seemingly unnecessary growing pain).
Generally speaking, the individual that I want to greet me at the customer service desk at 7:00 a.m. should to be a brilliant ray of sunshine, a being beacon of hope on the horizon, and that is not what they had at this location today.
I don't know why they have a "pickup zone" if they're not going to bother to have things ready when you get there to pick them up. Time is money and I lost both today waiting on something that should have taken 2 minutes.
I shouldn't have to check in for the order pickup when I leave my house to make the hour-long drive to get there for it to actually be ready when I arrive. There is a significant difference between being ready for pickup and just having the item available for pickup.
Additionally, when I looked at the email confirmation that the order was ready for pickup, the email stated that Lowe's delivers for free everyday...but when I place the order, they were going to charge me $39 for delivery.

NEVER have I been treated with such disrespect as I was today at this Lowe’s (which is the location and store I frequent for most of my projects).
Cathy, at customer service treated me terribly and as if I was the biggest hassle to have ever walked through the doors, as I was in there trying to make a simple return with my two children. When I asked to speak to a manager, none were around, and another employee said she was above Cathy, so she could “take care of my concerns”.
I will not be returning to this location, or a Lowe’s in Lakeland again. I will start doing my purchasing at elsewhere.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
