I hope you know what you need and know where to find it before you go. What little staff was working was unhelpful and honestly ignorant of what I was looking for. At check-out(only self check-out was available, no actual cashiers) the security employee was more concerned with who may be stealing than actually assisting people trying to purchase their required items. Lowe's and their staff and culture is why I prefer Ace or most other small hardware stores. If you want to feel like a criminal and not receive any actual customer service, you'll probably enjoy shopping at Lowe's.
Edit: I went back today to look for an item available online and in-stock according to the Lowes website. The product was not where the website said it was and when I asked an employee they were also unable to find it. While in the store helping myself because the employees were unable to help, The loudspeaker system DID NOT STOP announcing that people needed help in paint, windows and glass-cutting. It was lile a medly of customers needing help and receiving none in each department. I saw several employees stocking shelves and changing (raising) prices but whoever was literally asking for help across the PA system did not receive a response the entire time I was in the store. I almost purchased some adhesive I needed but decided to go to a local hardware store to try to get it there instead. Also the checkout line at the lumber section was 5 customers deep and there was a forklift parked right in the middle of the unblocked aisle with no employee near it. Dangerous.

My name is Kelli and I have had the pleasure of coming across some really amazing people during my visits at Lowe's in Lakeland in Lakeland Highlands, I believe the store is 783 Dale is always available and very versatile and knows pretty much everything, Karen is at the pro desk and she always gets everything right for me in my order and even gives me tne best advice. There is a guy named Chip that is in the Paint area and he is absolutely amazing. This is one of my favorite Lowe's and I want to thank everybody for being awesome.
