What a pleasant experience we had today at The Home Depot, Lake City! My son and I had a complicated order with a couple discounts and one of them was possibly online only. Sam K was so nice and lovely and patient with us, and Mr. Al helped to make things happen. They made sure we got all the discounts available to us, while chatting with us like friends while we waited. Common sense and friendliness. Long lost arts. Five Big Stars!!!!! Thank you!

I am beyond disgusted by the way management treats their employees at the Lake City, FL Location. One of my favorite staff members that always assists me in the store no longer works for Lowe’s. I only found out after a recent visit to the store and out of curiosity I asked what happened and was informed. She regularly assisted me in the paint department and was always so helpful every time! Management, specifically Kevin was horrible to her and treated her 10+ years of service and loyalty as if it meant nothing. I constantly shop at Lowe’s, I’ve purchased various kitchen appliances, paints, gardening tools, etc over the years but that all ends today. I am cancelling my Lowe’s Credit Card and I want nothing to do with supporting this corrupt corporation. I really hope that upper management will hold unqualified individuals like Kevin accountable and investigate his behavior. I intend to inform everyone I cross paths with in Lake City about this incident. Shame on Lowe’s, horrified is an understatement. Why would I shop at a store that cares so little about their employee’s?

I have been going to Lowe’s in Live Oak and their service is exceptionally great. They should send their employees to train the employees here at Lake City. To start I asked to find two different items and the first one just asked me to look at an isle behind him and the second one was coming back to never did. I started loading some plywoods into a flat cart and I cut my hand and the employee that was actually standing behind me and saw me bleeding didn’t even offer his help, just disappeared. Then I went to “pro-service desk” they saw me bleeding and they didn’t even show any interest in helping me. Finally, after paying for what I was buying and asked for help to loaded in the truck it never showed up. Definitely this store is the worse in every way to come and shop and get service from.

Not sure when it became okay to discriminate against pregnant women using mobility scooters, but as I am in my 3rd trimester sciatica is really painful while walking. I also get dizzy a lot when walking and as I asked to use a mobility scooter the old guy at the front denied me and said they are for old people with disability. Please educate your workers on ADA bc pregnancy IS considered a temporary disability. Will be filing a formal compliant next time if I even come back. Not to mention I have to walk and ask to sit in the washers and dryer department from being dizzy.

Went in for some lawn care products and tried asking Kevin where I'd find machine lubricant and was met with a cold shoulder and I couldn't even imagine what he must be like to his workers. In that moment, I left and feeling very unwelcome. I even knew a guy who was fired from this salt pit without even having the opportunity to fix their trivial problem after a long service to the company; probably from bosses who dont speak to their own subordinates and develop their own team! I guess I just got a taste of how things are run here.
