While checking out with my grandma, we were helped by an older cashier who was incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely trying her best. Unfortunately, some hangers we were purchasing got tangled upside down in the cart, which caused a delay. It was embarrassing for us, especially with a line forming behind us, but we were doing our best to fix the situation. What really bothered me was noticing that the cashier at the next register—who had no customers—along with another employee, were laughing and talking about us while this was happening. It felt very unprofessional and hurtful, especially considering our cashier was doing nothing wrong and was being kind and helpful. Customer service should include empathy and respect, especially in moments when things don’t go perfectly. I hope management addresses this kind of behavior so other customers don’t feel embarrassed or mocked while shopping.

A lady and I walked to the cash register at the same time. I proceeded ahead, we made eye contact. That was it. But Raven on the other hand, didn’t know what the hell was going on. She wasn’t gonna ring up my items until she got approval from the lady behind me and ask them “were you guys in line“ Raven I hope your manager sees this first of all if you don’t know what’s going on and who was in line 1st proceed to check out the lady who was in front of you. You do not ignore your customer and ask a customer behind them if they were in line, like you were not gonna ring me up and then go help someone else before me absolutely not.
