When I first got the unit the monthly rent was $79. 5 months into us having a locker there they increased my monthly price to $115. 9 months into having the unit they want to increase my monthly rent to $213. A 275% increase in under a year. I will never use this company again.

They couldn’t tell me how long the special would last—I should have walked away then. Two months later, the price jumped to the regular rate of $137 a month, including taxes and mandatory insurance, which was the going rate. Fast forward six months, and I received a rate-change notice in the mail stating the price was increasing to $260 a month—an increase of 110%. I called to confirm, and the woman I spoke with said the increase was based on “market conditions” and the fact they only had one other slot available. When I said the increase was ridiculous, she asked what I would like to pay because they could “adjust it,” as if the price were negotiable. That’s an absurd approach for a storage facility and a terrible business model. I called other locations, and the going rate for a space this size is around $150. The only reason I left my previous storage lot—Taylor Parkway Storage, where I stayed for eight years—was because this new place was 15 minutes closer. Other storage places even recognize this company as a bait-and-switch operation. I can’t imagine being stuck here with a full household’s worth of belongings and not being able to move easily. The lot itself is also poorly designed for trailers. It’s not set up for backing in, which makes maneuvering much harder than it should be. The only upside: the staff members are friendly and competent. Unfortunately, that’s not enough to make up for the pricing games and bad layout. Don't rent here.
