Great place to buy a recliner. Manny more options than the other furniture stores we visited. Not the cheapest, but good warranty and many available options to get just what you want. I recommend upgrading to the firmer cushions. Maria was a great salesperson.

I took my mom to lazy boy today because she needed a really good recliner fast for medical reasons. Bruce the sales person did an amazing job helping us find the perfect recliner for her needs. Bruce explained everything to us and was very personable and alot of fun to talk to. I highly recommend this store and make sure you ask for Bruce.

We purchased a dual recliner in August 2025. The seat cushion no longer has "cushion" very uncomfortable. The cost for the recliner was $3200.00. Spoke to a young lady in Service at the Cleveland Ave store who told us "Warranty don't cover wear and tear" then proceeds to ask how often we sit in the chair anyway? I am so disgusted, that was a lot of money to spend. Never buy from lazy boy unless you can afford to throw your money away. We are 2 elderly people on a fixed income and are now stuck with a chair my disabled husband cannot sit in.

La-Z-Boy of Fort Myers is the greatest store with a lot of different chair options. Maria Martinez helped me find the perfect chair for my husband. She was very caring, compassionate and patient with choosing as my husband is very picky but in the end he LOVED it! Thank you Maria for all the time you spent with me and making this a wonderful experience.

I had a fantastic experience shopping at La-Z-Boy! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. A special shout-out to Maria — she was incredibly helpful, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect area rug for my space. Maria took the time to understand my needs, explain options, and guide me through the choices without ever being pushy.
The selection in the store was impressive, and I was able to find an area rug that fits my style and space perfectly. The quality exceeded my expectations — well-made, beautiful, and exactly what I hoped for.
Overall, the process with Maria was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend La-Z-Boy, especially if you work with Maria — you’re in excellent hands.
⚠️ Negative Experience with Interior Designer Shane
Unfortunately, our experience with the interior designer Shane was the complete opposite. From the moment we were introduced to her, it was a turnoff. She was not helpful at all. We showed her our living area and were hoping for thoughtful recommendations that would actually fit our space. Instead, she immediately took us to the most expensive piece of furniture in the store, showed little interest in our needs, and then placed a book in front of us saying, “Let me know what you find.”
To make matters worse, she began arguing with our salesperson in an obvious attempt to take over the sale, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. She came across as very pushy toward other salespeople on the floor.
Maria was far more helpful, patient, and respectful than Shane. Based on our experience, I would absolutely avoid working with Shane and instead recommend Maria, who truly provided excellent customer service.
