  I recently had the pleasure of working with Venus at Extra Space Storage, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! From the moment I walked in, Venus greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and made the entire process seamless. Her kindness and attentiveness made me feel valued as a customer. The facility itself is impressive, especially the climate-controlled 10x10 storage unit I rented. It’s perfect for storing all my attic items, keeping them safe and organized while allowing me to declutter my home. The space is clean, well-maintained, and secure, providing peace of mind for my belongings.   I have been a customer at this facility for nearly two years. During the first few months, the pricing was very reasonable and the property appeared to be well maintained. Because of the positive experience and competitive rates at the time, I eventually rented a second unit and maintained both units until this week. Over time, however, the rental rates increased significantly, nearly doubling within a relatively short period. At one point, the smallest unit was priced almost the same as the largest unit available. Since Karen the primary staff member retired, I have rarely seen any staff present on-site. Most days it appears that some individuals may be operating businesses out of their units, which raises concerns about oversight and management of the facility. I have found it difficult to justify the current rate of $289 per month for a 10×15 non-climate-controlled unit, especially considering that the same unit was approximately $169 just a year ago. Another concern was the timing of the rate increase notices, which were mailed after automatic payments had already been processed. Because of these changes, I recently consolidated my belongings from two units into one. However, I plan to move out entirely in the near future. Lastly, I would like to note that I have encountered a noticeable number of bugs and snakes around the property during my time here. These were not coming from my unit but were present elsewhere on the premises, which was concerning.
