Customer satisfaction is not important to them at all, even for customers who have loyally supported the business. I’m a Titanium Plus member and a long-time, high-spend customer who has consistently chosen Lowe’s over competitors for major purchases. Unfortunately, that loyalty was not reciprocated. I lost all my LOYALTY points because the store doesn't know how to communicate their policy in an honest or consistent way. This store already struggles daily with execution and communication, and situations like this only reinforce the impression that even loyal, high-value customers are treated as disposable. That’s a disappointing way to run a business and a good way to drive customers elsewhere. I will certainly take my large purchases to Home Depot from now on.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
