This company popped up on Facebook while I was browsing and had an easy, just click here, method of requesting to be contacted for more information. Since we are in need of a tree to be assessed for possible removal in our yard, I clicked it.
At 604 the next morning, I received a text asking if they could come by to look at the tree. It was 6 in the morning, I was sleeping and the text woke me. So, I ignored it. Fifteen minutes later I received another text saying “Courtney Salem?”, like they were waiting for a response. This text woke up my kids! I then received a phone call just before 9am from another person from the company. I was unable to answer that call, but was glad it was at a more reasonable hour! I then received another call from the person who originally texted at 1230pm. I was able to answer this call and scheduled for them to come out on Wednesday morning to look at the tree (this was on a Monday). During the call the gentleman asked if they were to give me a good price, would I schedule that day for the tree to be removed within the next 2 weeks. On one hand I can see where they don’t want to come out if we aren’t serious about being a customer. But on the other, this rubbed me the wrong way. I just wanted the tree looked at to assess if it just needed cut back or possibly completely removed. But it felt like he’d already determined it needed to go and was pressing me to schedule the removal. I was concerned they say it needed to go when they saw it, whether that was true or not. But I let it go and planned to meet with them on Wednesday.
I immediately got a confirmation text for the scheduled appointment when we hung up. The next day, I received what I can only assume was a text from a boss/manager that was not meant for me, but to the employee(s) of the company. I understand if maybe the workers had been told multiple times that specific days were for certain areas and being frustrated it’s messed up but the text seemed angry and rude and frankly unprofessional to send to employees, in my opinion. (I have attached a photo versus just typing it all out.)
Two minutes after I received the messages not meant for me, and I do wonder if they got sent to all the customers in their system or only me, I got a text from the original number asking to confirm my appointment. This was at 902 am, then at 1030 I received a phone call asking to confirm, and again at 103 pm I get yet another text asking if we “are all set”. I was in meetings all morning and could not respond right away. Not to mention I’d just made the appointment the day before, why am I being corned to confirm! Yes things change but a simple reminder text would have sufficed.
I felt like the company was desperate and the number of calls and texts I received within the time frame is absurd. I understand wanting/needing to make a sale and if you don’t reach out or follow up, you won’t get customers. But the best way to lose me as one is to be pushy and unprofessional. We have jobs, kids, and life going on and can’t always answer a call or text within minutes. Especially at 6 in the dang morning!

Tyler and his crew from Brothers in Arms Tree Service did an excellent job in cutting multiple trees, grinding stumps and roots, and re-paving sections where a tree root had buckled a driveway at our association. The entire crew was courteous, professional, and hard working. Unlike other companies we have used, all their equipment was operational. Tyler wanted to make sure we were satisfied and even came back after the job was completed to grind more roots that we uncovered. We highly recommend Brothers in Arms Tree Service and would not hesitate to use them again.

Brothers in Arms Tree Services exceeded my expectations! They came out, provided a free estimate, and showed up exactly on the day they promised. The tree trimmers were friendly, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. They worked quickly and did an amazing job, leaving me speechless. Everything was cleaned up perfectly afterward.
I could go on and on about how wonderful this company is, from the person who answered the phone to the estimator, and the tree trimmers. I highly recommend Brothers in Arms—don’t bother calling anyone else!
