- PMPaula McLaughlin4 days ago1.0Avoid the custom framing!! Brought a counted cross stitch piece in to be framed. Asked to have 1/2 inch left between stitching and frame. Picked up the piece and frame was right up against the stitching with no space left. Framer told me the piece shifted. She said she could order a larger frame but could not guarantee the 1/2 inch between the stitching and frame. She also said she did not know when the frame would be in and when it would be redone. If the customer asks for a piece to be framed a certain size they should not be told "I'll try but I can't guarantee it." If you can't do it, say no. This was not an impossible ask. I was simply asking for 1/2 inch to be left between the stitching and frame. My pieces have always been framed this way. Manager was rude. Will never go back to this Hobby Lobby again. Absolutely do not recommend for framing.
