- CVCarmelita VergaraDec 28, 20251.0This past Tuesday, I came in around the early afternoon hours last minute holiday shopping and I saw, I'm assuming the manager (short lady, kinda chubby, with her hair up - black haired), not yelling, but screaming at her employee like a banshee. The employee was an older lady with short, salt and pepper hair. Poor thing was on the verge of tears! Now, I don't know what the poor lady did but it did not warrant a public lashing! Keep that stuff in your office but even then, the manager said some awful things I wouldn't dare say to my grandmother! She was doing this in front of other customers who also seemed so shocked! I love World Market and the employees are so kind but if that is indeed a manager who was seen screaming... she needs a lesson in respect and professionalism in the work place. Her treatment of her employee was beyond the pail... I asked the cashier if this was a regular occurence and they just shrugged and said, "just another day for us." How utterly sad! I hope this message reaches her boss. Somethings not right with that manager.
