The LOWE'S website advertised the availability of 16 bags of cement rated to withstand 8,000 PSI. This was not the case. All 16 bags, possibly due to improper storage conditions and expiration dates, had turned into rock wrapped in paper. In fact, LOWE'S was selling disgusting garbage under the guise of high-quality cement. Even after several attempts to drop and crush one bag, the cement inside remained in the form of rocks. When this was pointed out to two employees, they tried to convince me that the cement was of suitable quality. A senior employee, attempting to check and test the cement, tried to pierce the bag with a knife. But he was unable to penetrate the bag containing what he called a "good" product. This "good" product had turned into rock. Even after this, the senior employee continued to lie to me about the "good quality" of the cement. Thus, I was faced with double deception: a) the advertised product was not actually available for sale; b) The store employees, despite direct evidence, lied to the customer about the quality of the product.
I think only people with absolutely no self-respect could give a positive or neutral review of this store.
I understand that the product hadn't been sold for months, and in the daily grind, the supervisors might have missed the fact that the cement had hardened and deteriorated due to natural moisture.
But I DON'T UNDERSTAND why the store employees, even after confirming that the cement had deteriorated and was unusable, lied to the customer.
Unfortunately, I had to buy another cement with inferior characteristics.
It's no wonder the store is empty compared to Home depot. They no longer do returns for store credit so if you bought something with cash and lost your receipt your screwed. Better hold on your receipt or better yet just go to Home Depot.
