- PDPatricia DukeApr 22, 20263.0I was with this storage unit just a little over a year, I luv the location, and the cleanliness, what I didn’t like, was the fact that they raised the rent twice within that year, in which I had to move out, I couldn’t afford it, and the employer said had I told them they would have let me keep it at the same rate but then again I asked myself yeah but for how long before they raise it again. I was upset that I had to leave, but Raising the wind in that short of time, not good..

My rent went from $100 a month to not even 7 months later it doubled to $200. I understand the policy but it is disturbing how it works. I went online to the same Extra Space but a different location and found the same size unit for $98. Disappointing.
