    Hire more people at Customer Service, on a Saturday there is only 1 person available with a bunch of other employees standing by self check out????? I’m first in line literally been waiting 20 min and there are 4 people behind me.

    Price online for item was different than price in store and was a much better price. They couldn’t match it in store so they advised me to buy it online and then bring the item to customer service myself to “pick up”. Get to customer service with item and they proceed to tell me I have to wait 3 HOURS FOR THEM TO PICK THE ITEM I JUST BROUGHT TO THEM!!! Ridiculous. They price match to Amazon but can’t match their own online prices. Ruined my day.

    I want to take a moment to commend Bryan who works in the bath department at the Clearwater Lowe’s. He went above and beyond trying to help me find a solution to a problem. He is calm, kind and compassionate. Thank you!!!

    This review would have been very different if it weren’t for Scott. When I needed my black iron pipe threaded, Scott was the only one who could operate the threader. After multiple attempts, I finally figured out I needed to call ahead and ask if Scott was working. I also realized that S. Clearwater Lowes is the only hardware store in Tampa Bay that can cut and thread steel pipe and Scott is the only one who can do it. And best of all, it’s a free service if you buy your pipe there. The Orange Guys don’t even stock black steel let alone cut and thread it. If you’re doing owner-builder natural gas pipe, this is literally your only option in the Bay Area (and maybe beyond). If I had one critique, it’s that Lowes needs to train more of their staff to run the pipe threader. It’s very straightforward and Scott’s skill level makes it look easy. If they offer this service (which they absolutely should since it sets them apart), they need to train more staff on how to do it. I was told to come in multiple times and made many unnecessary trips, waited around for several hours in total, and nobody seemed to know much about the machine or who could operate it. One person tried and bent my pipe and I was worried they broke the machine. I was also told the machine was broken several times but Scott proved that hypothesis wrong. He operated it with ease and threaded my pipe perfectly. On top of this, Scott is sociable, relatable, polite, and just downright funny. His stories are fun to listen to. He embodies everything Lowes wants to be and his customer service is second to none. So this 5 star review is for Scott in Plumbing. Thank you Scott. Lowes, give this guy a raise.

    I was in the Lowe's on Gulf to Bay about a week ago and all I needed was to have some glass cut. I muffed the measurement and had to return for a re-cut. The gent in Lowe's who helped me was a guy named Ron. Ron was just really great and helpful, and went out of his way to make sure the second cut was accurate. Ron's the type of department assistance that every Lowe's should have.
