  Terrible work!!! Everything is done crookedly and illegally!! They do not answer calls or emails!!! They only answer when the next payment needs to be made! They promised three months and now the year is ending!!! Do not work with this company!!!!

  I want to try to be fair. I want to say right now as i write this I love my pool and the design process was fun. But the entire process pretty much gave me mini heart attacks and I feel I should share. We built it and they finished when we were out of town. They filled with water. No one was home to ever do the initial brushing for a week, therefore, in 3 years we’ve had to get the pool descaled twice. The pool is rusting and has since day one in 6 separate spots. I built a white pool so it’s so obvious. I was told they didn’t use enough material. . To be fair they “tried” to fix it but it’s just so ugly and 5 different contractors have tried to remove the rust and no one has been able to. Also, they don’t do a “beauty strip between the coping and the tiles so very shoddy grout and finishing. Pool school was a joke, some kid in his twenties came over for 10 minutes and did a lot of pointing then looked at his phone, stomped his feet and said “I have an appointment in St. Augustine”. I still don’t know what the knobs and other things are for. I discovered that we were provided old equipment, not even compatible with our phones. Pool lights stopped working within a year. Tiling job was the absolute worst, grouted unevenly. Pool material never sprayed inside our skimmer. It’s a disgusting mess if you are in the pool and my guests have commented. , it was also installed so it’s crooked. I have spent thousands to other pool builders in the area to try to fix so many problems. I still do not have the plastic coverings that go over the air holes in the spa that sucks water in. I was told that a child could get really hurt as their foot could get sucked in. Again, at first blush, everything looked good and it passed the palm coast inspection. I a giving three generous stars as I like my pool and enjoy it now but be warned, after I paid that final check it was impossible to get anyone to help and that’s sad because I really would have liked to recommend them for other projects.

  Our family will highly recommend Roy and his team at Waldhauer! After meeting with Roy, seeing his design, competitive price, and learning of his 20 years experience with thousands of pools, our choice was made and today we know it was right. Our project began as scheduled with permit pulling in late fall 2018 and finished as scheduled winter 2019. Over that time Roy and our PM Gerard were responsive and accommodating. At first I may have been a little too eager to communicate, but I always heard back within a day. Gerard successfully managed multiple outstanding crews from the survey to pool school. Excavation was impressively precise in our very limited back yard area, the paver crew were outstanding, the tile was meticulously installed, and the plumbing, electrical, and fencing were all prompt and professional. Pool school and final permit wrapped up an outstanding build and today we enjoy every minute we can in our pool and spa. We know the choices out there, and we heard all the pitches. Roy and his team delivered what they promised, when they promised, and we’ll recommend them to anyone.

  Thanks for an excellent pool! Going on 5 years and it still looks like the install.I brush,vacuum, and check the levels weekly and that is all.
