I actually really like it blows in their products. It's just and nowadays there are very understaffed, and it takes me too long to find an associate for help. Last week, when I was there buying a hot water heater, it took me 30 plus minutes to find and associate multiple departments over.

I was reminded why I only shop at home depot. Asked a worker a question and their response was a smirk into a “naw bro” I will make sure to never shop at Lowe’s again

I knew I could get the wooden handle I needed for $7.98 at Home Depot, but Lowe's was closer so I stopped in there.
I found two price tags for the same item, marked at $9.98 and $11.98 as pictured, which was confusing. I brought these photos to the register, expecting that they would appreciate the information enough to charge me $9.98, since I expected they would want the tags corrected to prevent confusing other customers.
I was surprised that Liz at the front end not only wouldn't honor the misleading price, but was actually quite happy to learn that I was going to Home Depot.
I understand that the store must get busy during the holidays, but you shouldn't let your employees manage the workflow by encouraging customers to shop elsewhere.
I can't help but wonder how many thousands of dollars it costs your company to have someone who hates people working in your front end.
Maybe she's a hard worker, but it might behoove your company to relocate her to another job that fits her skill set like unloading trucks or cleaning toilets instead of letting her talk to customers.
Update:
Thanks to Liz, I got a great deal today on an upright freezer at Home Depot. Even after paying for delivery and setup, it was far cheaper than virtually the same GE fridge (mine has white door shelves, the Lowe's model has clear door shelves for $250 more. I guess I'll have to settle 😂.
I suggest using Liz as a resource in the future for where the best deals are. She hit a home run suggesting Home Depot over Lowe's.
Oh, and the wooden handle at Home Depot was longer and more durable looking.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
